We stayed at The Casa while attending our son's wedding in nearby McCloud. Staying with us were our parents, all in their 80s. We parked off the alley in the back to accommodate them, as suggested by Carla S, and it worked out beautifully. There are about 10 steps up to the front. The beds are SO comfortable, the linens are lovely, and all of the furniture is new and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is a WOW and my husband is now looking for a dining room set for me like the one in The Casa. :) It was a pleasant surprise to find the same hair and bath products in the bathrooms that you would find in a quality hotel. We didn't expect that. Everything you could possibly need (with one exception) is here throughout the house. There are extra linens in the bathrooms and bedrooms, the kitchen is fully stocked with dinnerware, cookware, etc.
Our only issue, and it's something that could easily be remedied by the owners, is that there are no portable fans in the house. It was VERY warm, and it would have helped to have small fans in each of the bedrooms and a larger one in the living area. There is a VERY small a/c unit in the dining area, but that was about all it cooled.
We enjoyed our stay and would like to say THANK YOU to the owners for accepting our application to stay at The Casa.
