For those of you who have not yet tried Holdrens. We first visited a Holdrens in Santa Barbara about a year ago. We had a nice dinner and were surprised to see we had a location of Holdrens within minutes of our home in Thousand Oaks. In Santa Barbara location I had the Salmon dish and my partner had the daily special of unlimited ribs for 23. dollars. Everything we delicious. When my partner finished his ribs they quickly placed another slab of ribs the same size as the first on his plate.
Last night after being here a few times now; we decided to stop in on a Monday for their unlimited Ribs special. We ordered the Garden Salad and twice baked potatoes as our side dish. Their Garden Salad is great. Bright greens and cheery tomatoes as sweet as can be. The portion of Ribs seemed a bit smaller than in Santa Barbara. The waitress was very attentive to asking us if we wanted another portion. This is
where the 2 properties differ. The second portion consist of 2 ribs. But I guess you can do that multiple times. Next time we would probably try a different potato option. The twice baked potato could definitely use a bit of improvement. But that's just my taste. Enjoy!
