Ordered the Sea Bass, divers Scallops and Shrimp. Every portion was very generous and the shrimp were Lungastino size. Food was well prepared, service was excellent, atmosphere is great, this establishment is a Newport Beach staple. Excellent location prior to summer jazz concerts with their shuttle.

This is a nice higher end restaurant that we have been going to maybe twice a year for many years. It's good but maybe not as good as it used to be. I don't like it when really good dishes get changes made to them for no apparent reason and that has definitely happened here. A couple of the salads were huge disappointments from what they used to be. It seems like the restaurant is really watching their food costs and are getting a bit cheap on some of the little things that make a difference -- quantity of nuts and cheese in salads, etc. At this price point they are making a big mistake IMHO by cutting back on these things Figure on spending $100/person for dinner if you have a cocktail, wine, salad, and an entree.

Here are the ratings I would give to the individual items that we were served on our most recent visit:
Dinner Rolls: A
Crabcake: C-
Bayside Salad: C+
Beet Salad: C+ (note to restaurant: Your old version used to be an A+)
Halibut entree: B+
Flourless chocolate molten dessert: A-

It wasn't a bad meal but it wasn't up to the standards that we have come to expect from this restaurant based on at least 15 past visits.

Tip: If you want a quiet dinner where you can focus on the conversation at your table you will want to ask to be seated in their main dining room which is a much nicer and quieter atmosphere than the bar side of the restaurant.

Large portions for a fine dining restaurant. Our waiter Bobby knows his martinis. Halibut on risotto was fabulous. A warm & inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended.

My friends took me there for my birthday brunch and we all had a great time.

The food was good, the bottomless mimosa, and the service were all good! I like the champagne, it wasn't too tart..

I can't wait to have another b-day celebration for my circle of friends!
