Description: Local, and always from-scratch, our pub grub is the best in the area. Everything is handmade, from pub classics to eclectic favorites. We focus on cooking with craft beer. We have 10 taps for our amazing hand selected craft beers. A small selection of local wines and hand-crafted local ciders are also available. Live music! What more could you ask for!

Service was wonderful, we ate there twice during our stay. The food is inventive and very professionally made. The cauliflower and leek soup was to die for. The chef even came out and told me how to make it! We went back there the three nights we were there to enjoy the live music, nice patrons and fun!

We enjoyed an early evening out the day after Thanksgiving in Occidental. Lots of brew choices - even root beer for the kids - and the staff was very accommodating to small children (ages 3-8). Childs menu with crayons and activity sheet. The menu is pretty standard pub foods. Nice appetizer menu - the wings were a hit with our group. Not to worry, not all things are fired - nice selection of salads that are not standard faire. This establishment is in a row of old homes that have been remodeled but still retain the old charms (floors, etc.) of this town. (Thanks Missy for the great service!)

Great little old bar. Many of the best local beers - and there are many. Surprisingly really good food. If you're lucky there be a local band. If not there are conversations with all.
