Very nice campground. Full hookups for our 40 ft motor home and big sites.

Very close to Pt. Reyes Station which is a cute town with several restaurants and a grocery store.

Visit Pt. Reyes National Park and lighthouse. Just be prepared for 308 steps down and up !

We come back every year after school starts :)

This was a very nice and well maintained campsite. The only reason we are giving 4 star review is the tent sites were mixed in with RV sites and when we got back home from sightseeing there was five tent camps set up and they were young and far from quiet. At least we didn't have trouble getting sleep. They are maybe three minutes from the Point Reyes welcome center which was helpful for us since that's where we wanted to go. When you are there you have to drive to town and eat at Barefoot Cafe, it was amazing!!!

The tent camping sites are packed in. We joked that the place felt like a FEMA campground for refugees. There are only a few trees sprinkled around the park. They've got a really bad raccoon problem, so guard your food. The bathrooms are neglected. The only plus is there are free hot showers, but expect a long wait and a nasty hair wad in the drain.

The staff, while pleasant, are not actively managing the sites. We had a group of 12 people set up next to us with four tents. The campground limit is six people and two tents. We complained. Staff came over and made them move one tent. The site remained overcrowded the entire weekend. We never saw a staff member follow up on the issue. I don't think staff likely cared- the park was sold out.

I have to say that the community surrounding Olema is beautiful. Because of that, we didn't spend much time at the campground itself. We would like to go back and spend time just there and not plan on visiting lighthouses, bird and turtle sanctuaries and touring old buildings.

Spacious campground with lots of open areas to walk on beautiful grounds. Modern bathrooms, post office and laundry. Very nice front desk lady helped us after hours. It is worth a call to check on any special events and groups there since they do host them and have an amphitheater. During our overnight stay a large cycling group for a Climate Ride and a group of third grade science campers were in the two group campgrounds and they were boisterous but stopped by 10pm so it was fine.
