The food was excellent and the service was quick and friendly. Noise level at dinner was quite high and the tables spaced closely together. Will definitely go back again.

The atmosphere reminded me of dining outdoors in a French/Italian movie. However, our waiter was friendly, yet a bit boisterous and could have been more attentive. It is perhaps unfair to place judgement solely on a single dish, but the spaghetti carbonara was most disappointing. What I expected was fluffy creamy pasta with snippets of pancetta and a sprinkling of peas. What I got was overdone pasta in a soupy cheese sauce.

Not sure of the Tuscan nameplate; the restaurant going by Sammy G, at this address,
had a very eclectic menu, somewhat reminiscent of east coast deli (especially the desserts), but with a smattering of other fare. I had a sandwich and lemon meringue pie (huge) which was superbly put together in the Amish/Mennonite tradition of the seven sweets and seven sours. Obviously a local favorite but we were quickly seated; they turn the tables but without giving the impression of being rushed. Server, an older gentleman, was charming and entertaining.

I had the ravioli, which was fine, but nothing special. My mom said her marinara tasted store bought. The tomatoes in the caprese salad were not ripe and there was no salt or pepper on it. The food wasn't terrible, it was just nothing special. The ambiance might have been nice, but we were stuck by a window displaying children's bathing suits. The service was fine, not too friendly, but it was efficient.
