Note - closed Mondays. We visited twice it was so good. A charming couple serving amazing food in a tiny cafe - there are only a few tables. This is not a place for a big group or for a family with four kids. This is also not a place to come at 10:30 a.m. for breakfast when you're starving and you want it right now. If you visit here, please don't hover over other guests tables impatiently - and please don't storm off because the ONLY server didn't attend to you quickly enough. They can't accommodate groups larger than 4 outside - so don't get mad about that either.

Please do visit solo or as a couple, support this lovely cafe and enjoy the amazing food. But be patient. Pretend you're in Paris and you're living a life of leisure. Walk in, put your name on the list and get an espresso and a croissant "to go" - and then enjoy it in the sun across the street or on one of the benches nearby.

Take a deep breath and hopefully rude impatient Americans won't mar the ambience and experience. The food is absolutely amazing.

Wow - You've just warped to Paris - central...

This is Paris French in all ways...

Bonjour - to start will go a long way...

This cute little place is owned and run by French natives, complete with sense of humor and manor of doing things, including how fantastic each of their pastries are made.
Because they all taste so good...
(Not sure how they are doing it with pasteurized products... But it tastes great!)

There are definitely not enough seats / tables..
So you will have to quickly summarize this and decide if you have the time to wait for a table and chairs...

If they don't approach you straight away with this question - you can determine this for yourself. - As there is only 1 server...
She is not being rude to you,
she's finishing all the other tasks of serving before she can serve you properly...

If you cant wait, they may be able to prepare a to-go order at the bar...
Otherwise try again some other time...
because the food is excellent!
And worthy of many return visits!

merci beaucoup!

The food here was delicious. I had a generous slice of quiche Provencale with a side salad. Hubby had a croque-madame which he loved. Seating is limited inside and out so come early. Take out is available. I would have had a dark chocolate crepe or pear tart if I wasn't so full. The owners were very attentive, very friendly and nice. Highly recommend!

A friend and I were in town for the tennis tournament last week. We found this little cafe the first morning we were there and went back every morning we were there - working our way through the menu. The quiches, omelets, and crepes were all wonderful -- as were the croissants and coffee! Charlotte (one of the owners - straight in from Paris a couple of years ago) was very sweet. The cafe is small - 3 or 4 small tables inside with a few barstools; and a few bistro tables outside; with a cool eclectic decor. The service is not bad (as I read in one review), just very European. They cook to order, and that takes time -- and then they let you take your time. It's not fast food and you shouldn't expect it; but they'll take care of you. I think they're only open for breakfast and lunch; and offer take-away items as well. This place really is the best find I've made in a very long time - I'm so happy we ran into it! Can't wait to visit again the next time I'm in town!

We enjoyed this little cafe for a late lunch. We both had salads--la nicoise and la beets & goat and they were terrific. The owners are young and French, service was quick and charming. This is nothing fancy but just plain delicious food.
