This place is now called Pho Lan, formerly Kimy Sushi. It is a very tiny space on Palm Canyon in Palm Springs, Ca. On a recent night we decided to give it a try. The appetizer, Goi Cuon, fresh shrimp spring rolls wrapped in rice paper with lettuce, mint, cucumber. Served with peanut sauce it was a real winner. We split a large size Pho noodle soup with meatballs. The meatballs were not especially flavorful, but the broth and other items were very good. Finally we split an entree Paradise Barbeque, Chicken, shrimp, pineapple, mushroom, & bell peppers that was good. The prices are not high and this place is worth a try.

We just noticed this little place a few weeks ago and I stopped in for some take out pho soup and we were so very pleased by the flavorful soup they put together (and great prices). The menu is very limited and while many other pho places offer you way too many variations, this place just has 3. But it gets the job done. We also tried the egg rolls and they, also, were remarkably tasty. We are not fans of the other local pho places but LOVE pho so we are very pleased. It is tiny with just a few tables but if you are in the mood for some good pho this is the place!

We tried Nigiri Sushi. They didn't know what this is. Anyway, we got take away. After checking the food in our hotel room we figured out that the Tuna smelled fishy and that the fish's color was lightly redish instead of dark red as typical for tuna. Each fish slice was very unprofessionally cut and it looked like they had cut one Sashimi fish portion into tree to safe fish. We actually got more a sort of plain rice plate. The Tuna smelled fishy too. If it was real Tuna at all, then no Sushi quality for raw eating for sure. We brought it untouched back and they refunded the money.
Don't go there, you'll just waste your money.

We stopped in because some diners on the sidewalk said it was good but it was less than mediocre. Any Japanese restaurant, I don't care where you are who does not offer tea has a big caution sign for me.

We had the chef's special and it was really almost not worth eating. The location is great but the food was terrible, including the miso, generally you get that sinking feeling when you have ordered and the miso is bad that the rest will follow suit.

I wouldn't recommend anyone dine here, I put a curse on the diners on the sidewalk who no doubt knew nothing about real Japanese food.

We decided for a change of taste and thought we needed a sushi fix. Saw this little place and stopped in. It was very hot inside and heard others who walked in state the same. We are outside. Service was just average for we were getting our rolls prior to soup that came with the sushi. The salad dressing was bland. Sushi portions was on the smaller cut size. And the clam tasted pre-frozen, wet, and chewy. We always order this and found it not good. Made us wonder if we were going to be sick for it. Luckily not. Overall, it was average. Would not recommend for others to go. Sorry!
