Description: Purple Room Supper Club is a fun, intimate and friendly place where the locals, celebrities and travelers hang out. We offer great 3 Course Purple Prix Fixe Menu & Happy Hour Tuesday-Thursday 4-6pm, live entertainment and a full dinner menu. We opened our doors in 1960 inside the Club Trinidad Resort, which was built that same year. This still-popular venue is considered to be one of Palm Springs’ “original” Rat Pack Hangouts – where Frank Sinatra and the “Pack” would bring friends to eat, drink and play! We offer complimentary live entertainment on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Our Mainstage, ticketed shows run Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday evenings at 7 pm, with dinner reservations starting at 5:30 pm for 7pm shows. A few seats in the bar area have restricted views of the stage, but we have monitors throughout for easier viewing. For those guests who prefer not to stay for a ticketed show, we suggest dinner reservations prior to 5 pm. Yes, we’re famous for celebrity sightings – you never know who will be at the Purple Room; so we kindly ask that you allow our guests to enjoy themselves by respecting their privacy! Remember, what happens at The Purple Room STAYS at The Purple Room. It’s where Palm Springs Plays! Please let us know if you have questions; we look forward to your visit!

We celebrated our 63rd Anniv. at the Purple Room. Michael Holmes was appearing this evening. Our dinner was excellent. Our waiter John was the best. Michael is a great entertainer. The food was five star. I had a wonderful Salmon along with the house blend red wine which was the best! My husband had the Rack of Lamb which he said was terrific. I cannot say enough about the perfect evening regarding the food, service and amazing entertainment. A perfect evening!

Went to see Kal and Lauri on Saturday and took our mother's to the Judy Show on Sunday. Food was surprisingly good - great wine list. And the Judy Show hilariously fabulous.

Wish we had a 6th star for the Blues portion of our evening! We went for the retro Doris Day supper show, which we enjoyed very much but stayed for the Kal David and Lauri Bono show! Deep, rich, full on blues with 2 incredible, saucy musicians! What a great evening. It is a smallish venue. Floor seating and dining in front of the stage, a u-shaped bar in the middle, high top tables behind that and some club seating beyond that.
We had planned to have dinner but were still topped off from a late lunch. In between shows ($60 for two for Doris Day tribute and $20 for two for Kal David and Lauri Bono) we ordered the crab cake appetizer and the hummus and pita. Just enough to take the edge off and the crab cakes were tasty!
Drinks were great, I had a sage and lavender gin drink topped with wine and red grapes. Say YUM! Quiet, older crowd for the Doris Day show, as expected and the crowd rotated out after that and the 30s to 60s moved in for the blues. As I said it was full on Blues with a fun and animated crowd. We will go back for Kal and Lauri! Wish I could see them every night!!

We went for happy hour and prices were reasonable. It looked expensive otherwise. The piano player/entertainer was loads of fun. Well go back again, for sure.

We have got into the wonderful habit of taking out of town visitors who stay over Sunday night to the Purple Room to see the Judy Show. Once again Michael Holmes presented his audience with an outstanding show. This is the 12th time I have seen his performance. I will see it again and again. There are variances in each show which add to the excitement and anticipation. Thank you Michael Homes. Dining in the restaurant before the performance is always a treat. Excellent cuisine is the rule of the house. Tonight the dinner was enhanced by the meticulous service provided by our server, Aaron.

Thank Richard F
