Overall this is an overpriced, cramped hotel, with an outdated interior and mediocre rooms. The staff is young and friendly,but not experienced. The cleanliness was mediocre. While the location is convenient, there are much better options nearby for a fraction of the cost.

Stayed here on business and really liked the location (walkable to restaurants and meetings) and it was very quiet. Rooms were small but efficient and well designed. Staff were nice at desk and breakfast. I plan on coming back

My experience with this hotel was excellent. It had clean rooms, decent breakfasts, good service and a great location (near Cal Train). The management was friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying there again.

This hotel was great! Best location, right around the corner from shops and restaurants, 15 min walk to Stanford campus. Very accommodating staff, friendly service. Small but clean and quiet rooms. Only complaint, no fridge in the rooms, and had to ask the staff for ice. Oh yeah, also no salt and pepper at breakfast.

Room Tip: Get the deluxe!

Dear Sdhten,

Thank you very much for the stay and the high marks. I am embarrassed that our staff neglected to put out the salt and pepper on the buffet given we have something in the neighborhood of 6000 packets in the kitchen. Perhaps next time...

We have seen a growing number of comments regarding the lack of a fridge so it is something that we will take into consideration, especially for the deluxe rooms. The standard rooms are pretty compact so finding something that could work in those rooms will be trickier.

This hotel was very nice in the heart of Palo Alto. Just around the corner from shops and restaurants, and a 15 min walk to the middle of Stanford Campus! I will be staying here again. Bring a cooler as there are no fridges in the rooms, but that is literately my only complaint.
