Fun cooking experience for the family on Mother's Day! Great service, our server brought extra veggies for the appetizer and extra strawberries for the dessert as requested. Nice that there is space for two pots to accommodate different tastes or in our case separate cooking for the vegetarian and carnivores. Very satisfying meal, ate more than we should have, it was that good! Great place for special occasion but a little pricey for an average night out. Biggest complaint is the parking, we parked in the public garage behind the restaurant on Delacy which was close and convenient but the elevator (necessary for mom) lets you out on the ground floor with no choice but to walk up a short flight of stairs, hmm how would this work if we had a wheel chair? Thankfully mom can still navigate a few stairs but would recommend valet for accessibility.

I had visited a Melting Pot in Florida years ago and didn't enjoy it. This time they had an improved menu and we chose wisely. Spinach/artichoke cheese fondu, salads, salmon in vegetarian bullion. Everything was fresh and delicious. We will return.

I've been to many Melting Pots all over the country and this one by far gives the biggest portions. It's slightly more expensive, but the portions are huge. The food was great as is standard at the Melting Pot; the staff was well-trained and friendly. The only downside was parking was a bit difficult with on-street only. It was a nice evening so the couple block walk was enjoyable.

This was our first time eating at the melting pot. We have wanted to eat here for a while. The reviews made us nervous but we tried it anyways and we're not disappointed. We ordered the 4 course experience and it was great. The service was fantastic and very helpful. We did spend two hours eating but that made the dinner more enjoyable. Overall we will definitely return. It was a bit pricey but the experience and quality of the good was worth it.

The wife and I decided to 'do it up' here for NYE and we weren't disappointed in our choice. If you are looking for decadent, rich food, you've found it here! If you're looking to eat light? Umm..no. We chose the spinach artichoke fondue to start. It came with various styles of bread (cubed), apples, carrots and was quite delicious. After you eat it for a few minutes, you feel it piling up. Second course was a small salad. A refreshing respite. The attentive waiter then brought out our selection of seafood and meats, all uncooked, with our hot fondue pot of oil (they call it, "bourgonione style"). There was a cold water lobster tail, precut sitting atop the tail on a plate with chicken, shrimp, pork and beef. All of it needed to be cooked in the fondue pot. The waiter gave us detailed instruction on how long to cook each piece. (Don't worry, you won't remember how long for which one either). We just left the stuff in until was browning and took our chances.
After all the fonduing of the main course was complete, we were more than stuffed from eating meat and vegetables fried in oil, it was then time for the chocolate fondue! I was already feeling extremely full, but hey! It's New Year's Eve!! Gotta make a complete pig of yourself, right? (and then be sorry about overeating later). Soo.. Out comes the chocolate fondue. The plate for this treasure held one small slice of cheesecake, rice krispy squares, various brownies, marshmallows, strawberries, bananas and what seemed to be the entire contents of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory.. After eating that.. We were quite uncomfortable and had eaten way too much.. Albeit very delicious, it was a massive quantity of food. The entire staff and service was excellent. The kids there work very hard. Our only furrowed brow came when we got the check and noticed the 18% gratuity was already included in our bill. For a table of two, we thought that to be inappropriate, but being NYE and all, I get it.
I'm guessing the chains of these places are on par with one another. If you're looking for a lot of food and have sometime to relax and shoot the breeze, this is a nice option.
One Caveat if you do choose to enter Pasadena on NYE.. Be ready for some off-the-wall-crazy people partying in the streets, because, that's what you'll be experiencing.
