It was a wonderful stop in our day. Spent 45 minutes to an hour just watching the butterflies float around. Many clustered together on the branches and made an amazing sight. Docents are present to explain behavior and answer questions. There are telescopes set up to see the upper levels in the trees. Truly a great experience!

A small little gem to experience Butterflies like you never have before. Their mating ritual seems extreme. Scary and Beautiful at the same time. You will have to see for yourself.

While driving around the area of Pismo Beach inland a bit we noticed a grove of trees and people looking up and so curiosity brought us closer to find all these butterflies that were just amazing to view and appreciate, millions just flying around and mating or just being born before flying away...so beautiful to admire nature and what a display.

This is a wonderful experience for all ages. The grove is easily accessible and has an excellent docent talk. The message of the visit "we should all plant milkweed". The shortgage of milkweed has decimated the butterfly population. Apparently, easy for us all to grow.

The tall eucalyptus trees smell so beautiful. The parking in right there. The walking path is very easy. All along the path are telescopes so you can get an up close look at the clusters of Monarch Butterflies. Donation only. Well worth seeing. Loved it.
