One of the better Indian restaurants in Pleasanton. I would return for the food & service. However the desert that we ordered had a funny smell to it, needless to say we had to return it. Overall a great experience though.

A delightful Indian restaurant on the Main Street in Pleasanton. The cauliflower & ginger starter is delicious and our two mains of chicken in a cashew nut creamy sauce, and sea bass curry were both very tasty. Complimentary poppodums were brought out with two sauces. Service was very friendly and prices very reasonable indeed for Pleasanton.

We had dinner today at this restaurant. My wife and I are pretty good cooks and can make most of the Indian dishes at home. We usually go to Indian restaurants only for the buffet experience where we can taste different dishes. My friend told me that this place was pretty good for dinner . It turned out to be a good experience of north Indian Punjabi cuisine with some interesting south east Asian twists.
Decent ambiance, adequate wine list and attractive plating .
The staff was very attentive. The prices were appropriate
Food was wonderfully Spicy but not too hot.
For appetizers we had the calamari which was crisp. The Marsala Scallops was Indian fusion with a different touch of India in every bite. The Dum Biriyani was brought to the table in the dish covered with the dough (individual form of the Dum)and when it was ceremoniously carved open the exhilarating bouquet was as fantastic as the flavor. The Mussels in a sauce of coconut milk and lemon grass was a delicate fusion of Indian and Thai flavors. The tandoori platter of sea food was just average We tried the kulfi (frozen dessert) which was excellent

Overall a wonderful dinner and we would come back!

We enjoyed a number of different dishes. Especially liked the mixed tandoori. Nice wine list. Professional service. A number of Indian families were also having dinner, so I think that speaks to their quality.

I have been to this place numerous times both for family and business . The Chefs are trained from one of the best culinary schools in India . Food is real good and very well presented . Service is good. Next time you think of Indian food just go there.
