We were on a road trip from Southern AZ to Yosemite, and with our plans we wanted to see something cool between Needles, CA and Bakersfield, CA. Did some googling, and found that if we took a detour on Rte. 395 we could see a famous ‘active Ghost Town’ called Randsburg if you want to veer off the boring drive on Rte. 58. It was worth the detour and drive-around. We saw an old fashioned ‘main street’ with some shops, however even in the middle of the day when we were there, it had a ‘does anyone live here’ feel to it. We did NOT go into the museum, however we did want to leave a review to say that Randsburg is a cool place to see. I reckon the museum is just a cool as all the other reviewers say it is.
