We were not happy with the bed. Much too soft for us. We tried putting the fold out couch mattress on the floor, but still not good enough. Good mattress is our number 1 requirement. They were full and there was no alternative room, so there did not seem to be an option. Normally, we would have declined to stay and gone elsewhere. But, wedding party was staying there so we had to tough it out.
Room showed visible signs of wear, but everything was functional. I understand an update is in the works. Black out drapes would not stay closed and we had to improvise our own clip.
It was hard to sleep. AC was very loud when it went on. Refrigerator woke us up a few times. Noises from room above us woke us up a few times. Don't know if that was a guest room or service area.
We liked the layout and set up of the room. Spacious. Also plenty of outlets and good wired internet.
We understand that they were very cooperative with the wedding and went over the top to assist them. Kudos on that.
Buffet breakfast was outstanding. Good variety and very tasty.
As a gold member with Starwood and Marriott I've become used to upgrades and additional amenities. None was offered or available for this stay which was disappointing. After the fact I was given 1000 Marriott points.More
