This is a wonderful and very modest restaurant with delicious food. We had the sambar vada (Deep-fried donuts made of lentil flour), the Choley Samosey and different types of dosa (a crepe with lentils and rice with fresh coconut chutneys and sambar). We had folks at our table who liked their food spicy, and the restaurant accommodated us by placing the extra spicy sauce 'on the side'. The menu described the food as 'Indian street food'. Would recommend getting Indian beer with your order, as it is a great combination. The desserts were okay, but not as great as the appetizers and dosas.
There is a grocery that is connected to the restaurant and there was a regular flow of customers. The place was filled with families, couples and groups. The staff was friendly and efficient.
If you are looking for a 'flashy' place, this is not the place; however, if you are looking for a good meal at a reasonable price, this is the place to go. Lots of kids and families here. Something for everyone on this menu.
