Food is bland for a Mexican Restaurant. Service is decent.
No memorable dishes.
I won't be back and I wouldn't recommend.

We love that Roberto’s Cantina offers a large variety of margaritas by the glass or by the pitcher. Select your favorite tequila with Triple Sec or Grand Marnier or Cointreau; they’ll always use their fresh, house-made sweet and sour for a perfect cocktail!
It’s hard to choose a favorite dish because there are so many tasty options: Rajitas Poblanas, a delicious recipe of roasted pasilla chiles in a creamy sauce with meat or shrimp, superb Mole, delectable Chicken al Xocoqui, the freshest Ceviche, and huge Shrimp Cocktail served in a perfect, slightly spicy tomato and cilantro sauce. The rice is authentic Mexican, with bits of potatoes, onions, and corn, and the beans and salsas are just fantastic!

Roberto's is not your typical Mexican food around the bay. You do not go here to get the "standard chicken nachos" or "fajitas". This is a place where there is much more than that. Food that you never had before such as the Rajitas Poblanas and Pollo aljocoqui. everything is made to order so you can change whatever you like. The Margaritas are the best around town (none of that store bought sweet n sour stuff) and Micheladas are excellent too. Do not go here if you are in a rush. These guys want to make sure you feel at home and enjoy your meal.

Friendly, quick service. Free tacos & dips. Had a combo - Cantinas Enchilada that came with rice & black beans ($10)- which was okay. Iced tea was made in house.
Very clean large washroom.
