I found this place on Trip Advisor. Its a bit confusing since its owned by and tucked away behind Cabin Fever. It was perfect for our one night stay while passing through the area. The room was clean, and while it was decorated Cabin Fever style, there was still plenty of space to put our things. The additional touches were nice, like a laundry basket in the corner. The bed was comfy. The only down side was that the frig was set too cold and froze my fresh food. (My bad- I now carry a thermometer so I can check the setting rather than assume its okay.)

I'd definitely stay here again with its great location near good restaurants and friendly staff.

This is a small hotel that will drop you back to a simpler town. We booked because they were dog friendly, and boy are they. There was a special bed for our dog, his name on the bulletin board and treats to greet him. The beds were comfy as could be. Yes the bathroom is a tad small, but there is wi-fi, TV and a terrific location.

This hidden little gem is tucked behind a store front right across from the lake. It is located in a great area next to shops and restaurants. The rooms are kind of small, but full of charm. It's like being in a cabin, except you're not. Could improve on some of the amenities offered, and is a little overpriced. Would stay again if the price was lowered, otherwise I'd choose a nicer hotel and spend a little extra money.

I visit Tahoe very often, and have never seen this little place before. We stayed here during Christmas weekend, so surrounding hotel prices were ridiculous. We were glad we found this place. The price was kind of steep for what was offered, but I blame that on the holiday weekend. It was in a great location. There were many shops and restaurants nearby, and lake views right across the street.

The place isn't fancy, but will remind you of a cozy little cabin. Could use a little extra dusty and cleanliness, but wasn't bad.

They could also use some extra toiletries, some conditioner, or at the very least, shampoo plus conditioner.

I would definitely stay here again. If the price was right. Would not pay holiday weekend prices for a regular weekend.

...really enjoyed this place. Nice, comfortable rooms. And the place is pet friendly. The staff is very helpful which is always a plus. The hotel is right in the middle of Tahoe City so walking distance to many places to eat and drink. Also, right across the hotel is a nice place to walk dogs. So location wise, this place is a hit. Why not 5 stars? The walls are paper thin - so easy to be distracted with noise coming from the other rooms.
