This is a second restaurant owned by the owners of the 1909 restaurant in Temecula's Old Town. We heard great things about it and so gave it a try yesterday with some friends. We got to the restaurant rather late and close to their closing time, but they served us and never made us feel rushed in spite of the fact that we did go past their closing time.
The restaurant is minimalist in design and located in a strip shopping mall on Temecula Parkway. It is just north of Jedediah Smith Rd and on the south side of the street.
Our waitress, Haley was a delightful young lady whom we found very attentive and pleasant. She was very careful to check all of the dishes for one in our party who needs gluten free food.
The Classic Bloody Mary was excellent and they have 3-4 other types of Bloody Mary's. They also have a number of nice wine and beer choices.
The food was rather mixed for a number of reasons.
My wife ordered an omelet with vegetables and found it rather bland. But a side dish of fruit was excellent and plentiful. I had the Shrimp ceviche which was very tasty, but more soup than ceviche with a very modest portion of shrimp. It came with 6 firm, mini corn tortillas to allow one to eat the ceviche without implements. The others in our party had an excellent hamburger served on lettuce rather than on a bun and our gluten-free friend had a very nice turkey, bacon and avocado sandwich.
