Lily Kai is tucked away on a lagoon at the end of the main drag into Tiburon. It has an unobstructed view of the bay, from Oakland to San Francisco. It has become my go-to place for Chinese food. It's a quiet, white tablecloth restaurant that is at the same time informal and family-friendly. I prefer vegetarian foods and am addicted to their egg foo yung and kung pao tofu. They serve spring rolls that are lava-hot and greaseless. The wines are well-chosen and unlike most Marin restaurants, the prices are very reasonable. It's a great place to bring a group of people and have an elegant and affordable dining experience.
