We ordered boy and girl cupcakes for my twin grandchildren's third birthday. When i arrived to pick them up, I was astonished at how beautiful they were. Not some tiny cupcake with a dab of frosting on them but large, scrumptious and gorgeous cupcakes. They were in very large boxes in individual serrated cardboard holders. A BIG win at the party.

Great for a light breakfast. Filhos and coffee is a wonderful way to start the day. Their sweetbread is the best around, closest thing to what my mother made.. The pull apart sweetbread is the best but all forms of their sweetbread are great. They have really good Portuguese cookies as well as all kinds of Portuguese specialties, cheese, sausage and fish as well as canned goods. The Portuguese bread, Pao Casiero is great to take home but must be order in advance.

I like this bakery very much especially the lemon and anise bisqote. It is a great place for a bit of the Portuguese cultural experience. The minority bakery must stay in business for many reasons. There is a american crumb for everybody in America. The problem is it would be nice to have a restaurant next to this bakery. So both Americans and Portuguese could sample a different culture.Unfortunately there is ignorance and financial corrections to be made. The bakery could expand its products. And the restaurant would need refurbishing next door.Does anybody care? Finacial help is needed. Poor Portuguese. Amen

It's a reminder of Easter Holiday with family. The baked goods are excellent and the prices are well worth the drive from Sacramento. I'll be coming back again and again for more taste of home. Best wishes to the owner of this wonderful experience.

This bakery has been in business a very long time, which is testamony to its variety and quality of pastries. They offer many specialty Portuguese breads and cookies...their Easter bread is the best!!
