Our stay at the Wyndham in Visalia was extraordinary. The room was comfortable and immaculate. The restaurant had excellent food and our server, Raul Munoz, did not lead us astray. He made wonderful menu recommendations and they proved excellent. His service was top-notch...he was knowledgeable, took our orders without hesitation, and provided outstanding service.

Room Tip: Any room proves both comfortable and clean.

This a huge hotel and the lobby looked great. However, our room was dated and it showed in the carpets. It was sweltering hot when we entered the room even with A/C set and running at 72. Apparently, some rooms included complimentary breakfast while others did not. This resulted in a lot of mix ups and a few of the guests had to go the lobby and grab a receptionist to get access to the breakfast area. They need to improve their organization much.

Wonderful hotel, great value and good proximity for Sequoia National Park. Very good food at the restaurant and excellent room service. We appreciated the very helpful, friendly staff. Overall, a very pleasant stay and we were very happy with the excellent price we got somewhat last minute for a quick summer get away.

Room Tip: Room was very clean and we appreciated the microwave and mini fridge

First off my wife and I stayed here about a month ago and enjoyed our stay. It's close to the Sequoias and we were able to have a great time. That room must have been the show room. Now on to my review. Last night we arrived and have our kids with us. The first room was musty and smelled of burnt Fritos. The second room there was a thick musty and smoke smell hung from the hallway and room. I felt like I was back in the Middle East and a hooka pipe with carpets were around a corner! But I digress....because that would have been a pleasant smell instead of Uncle Jimmy's Camel unfiltered. Our third room, yes apparently we are Goldilocks, was ok to say it politely since we were all very tired. Until we pulled back the sheets and the sheets were stained! I don't know what it was but seriously? Fire the staff that services the room! Was the person blind! On top of that they brought us sheets to make the bed ourselves and those sheets were stained also! And not the right size! We went through FOUR sets of sheets before we found ones that didn't have something that looked to be blood or booger stains/smears on them! Eventually the nice security guard tried to help the best he could. We were up until almost midnight until we finally had bedding we could stomach.... plenty of time to notice the big cobwebs in the corner of the room. Yuck. The continental breakfast....seriously...can the fruit be not rotten? I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel with all the problems we have had. And we are leaving a day early and will find another place to stay!
