Palihouse is well situated so you have easy access to Sunset and Santa Monica Bvds., Melrose, great eateries, and only a few steps away to a convenience store and pharmacy. A supermarket (Gleesons) is a short walk away, and you can either walk or cab to Wholefoods Market for much healthier supermarket options. We did have a brunch and dinner in-house and both were great.
All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The place had a really nice vibe.
The enormous, self sufficient apartment was very clean and being on the upper floor gave a good view. From the lovely roof top bar the view is even better. There is no pool but we didn't come to L.A. to swim and preferred to have a large cozy well appointed apartment. The bed sheets felt fantastic, the towels thick and everything was in good order.
The only concern was the street noise some evenings - we were in a front apartment - but if you were not a light sleeper this wouldn't be a problem and it was not a problem during the day.More
