Our first time to Breck and in 3 days of skiing, we barely scratched the surface. A number of different peaks that are interconnected. A little different in that you really need to use public or resort transport because there really isn't parking at each base. Lots of trails both groomed and gnarly. Fairly windy when we were there and we never got to the bowls. Food on the mountain is expensive. We were spending $27-$30 per person per day without any beer or cocktails. Everything is clean clean clean which is nice for a ski mountain.

Our daughter moved to Breckenridge to ski in 1996. She spent a year living in this great town before moving to the Front Range. I learned to ski at the Breckenridge Ski Resort at age 52 and have skied there for almost 20 years...as recently as this past week. Over the years the number of trails and accessible mountain skiing has improved by leaps and bounds. I love Peak 7. My daughter loves Peaks 6 and 7. My granddaughter, wife and I have all taken Private and Group ski and snowboard lessons from the Breckenridge Ski School. I don’t know why anyone would want to go any place else. The resort offers everything from easy peasey cruising green runs to quad blistering black diamond runs and bowls. Elevation of the runs is from 9600 feet base to almost 13,000 feet at the end of the Imperial Express chair. There are also plenty of restaurants and warming huts on the mountain. All of the convenience and variety that a ski resort should offer. We have been to other ski resorts in Colorado and Canada, but Breckenridge Ski Resort is our happy place.

Really nice resort with a laid back vib. Great access to town. Skis easier than some other resorts, however there's still plenty of challenging terrain and hike to areas. The entire staff is super friendly and helpful. A great place for a family vaca. If you're looking for crazy difficult terrain, it may not be your first choice! But ski it and hang out in town for the Breck experience!

A very big resort with good options for both beginners and good skiers. Nice family areas and beginners slopes. Good skiers can enjoy more distant peaks (10 and 6) as well as higher points on the other peaks. I didnt stand in line in any lift and slopes conditions were excellent. Tickets are very expensive...
