At the last minute, we decided to join our friends for a 4 day trip. We had no intentions of skiing and planned to just hang out and check out town. Well, that changed when I saw all of the options for beginner skiers. They have several (actually many) slopes that worked for me and I’ve only been on skis three times. They have options for all levels. Prepare for relatively long lines at the lifts but don’t sweat it. They’re good at moving people. We will be bringing our entire family back. And that includes a 2 year old granddaughter.

My family's favorite in Colorado. Not too far from DIA so the drive isn't too bad. Good overall range of terrain but not too big. Always seems to have an area available to escape the crowds. Lots available in town as well. Lodging is reasonable compared to some of the other ski areas.

What a place! Fantastic skiing, great snow, lots of variety and quite slopes. Even on the odd occasion when there were queues they were well managed and as soon as you got off at the top everyone dispersed so it was rarely busy on piste. Avoid weekends if you can especially holiday weekends when it does get busy! What impressed me most was beginners had an area to learn so on majority of slopes all skiers were very competent, safer for everyone! Reasonable choice of restaurants on hills, ok so a bit pricey and they all served same food but at least you don’t have to ski miles for lunch! Best tip, rent a condo on Four o’clock rd! Easy and quick access via snowflake lift with no queue in the morning and you can ski down the back to your door at end of the day!

Friends and I ventured out to Colorado for the first time and tackled a 3-day snowboarding adventure in the fresh powder of Breckenridge. We were overly impressed by the wonderful customer experience upon purchasing lift tickets at the gondola station and pleasantly surprised by how well lifts and trail routes were marked which made a daunting mountain seem easy to traverse. With the help of a few good snowfalls over the course of the week, the groomer runs were top-notch and the fresh powder made the higher, more difficult runs something to remember! Thanks for a memorable trip! We’ll be back!

Our first time to Breck and in 3 days of skiing, we barely scratched the surface. A number of different peaks that are interconnected. A little different in that you really need to use public or resort transport because there really isn't parking at each base. Lots of trails both groomed and gnarly. Fairly windy when we were there and we never got to the bowls. Food on the mountain is expensive. We were spending $27-$30 per person per day without any beer or cocktails. Everything is clean clean clean which is nice for a ski mountain.
