We were here only one night so we could run rim to rim 5k next day. Friendly staff quick check in and check out. Decent breakfast.

Stayed here overnight after riding the Royal Gorge train. Had our grandson with us, so booked a room with two queen beds. It suited our needs for the night, staff was friendly, we could walk to nearby restaurants for dinner, our room was quiet and the beds were comfortable. The only negative was no elevator, and my husband has knee problems so stairs are difficult. Wouldn't you know, we had a room on the second floor! There is also a Village Inn right across the parking lot. We went there instead of taking advantage of the hotel breakfast. We would stay here again, just make sure we book a first floor room.

Lousy service
We reserved (on line) a room with a king size bed, not realizing there wasn't an elevator on the premises.

Only room available on first floor was handicap with a double bed.

Neither the gentleman (manager's son) nor the woman at the desk the next morning could refund. Both said they would have to talk to the manager who was out of town (Denver).

Breakfast was in a bery smalll area that seated about seven people and 20 or so were trying to get breakfast.

Room was outdated, dirty washcloths were left hanging on shower rod from previous tenant. The carpet was very dirty.

Needless to say we won't be back.

Customer service was great. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Housekeeping gave us some rags so we could clean our motorcycles. The breakfast was good although the room was tiny and didn't really handle more than half a dozen at a time. They allowed us to park our truck and tailer in the back lot for a week while we rode.
