visiting family in Durango and hosted a birthday dinner for 2 family members at El Moro. Everyone in our group of 6 loved their drinks and entrees. Wonderful variety, helpful waitress, and delicious food. The prices are high, but for a special occasion we would return. Following this dinner we were shopping on main street and opted for lunch at El Moro. It was a Friday and we had the special, fish tacos, and they were absolutely 5 star, and reasonably priced. If we are lucky enough to visit Durango again, we will definitely go back to El Moro.

This is where we had our first dinner in Durango. This is a busy place with a fantastic selection of menu items. The cocktail, beer and wine selection is also quite large.

The food was fantastic, perfectly prepared and tasty.

The service was excellent, despite the fact that there were only 2 wait staff and 1 bus person for this entire restaurant and it's not small. The wait staff never stopped moving. I really don't know how they work a shift like that. Hopefully, they were tipped well that night because they certainly deserved it. I don't know if that's the nightly norm but if it is they won't last long at that rate.

The owners definitely need to look at adding additional front of house staff.

With all that said it's definitely worth trying.

Another restaurant we try to get back to at least twice when we travel to Durango from Sweden every year since they opened. The service is always fantastic, the atmosphere is fun and the food has always been consistently good every time we have eaten there. And their Bloody Mary's are perfect.

Loved the light fixtures and the food was outstanding as well! A local recommended the hamburgers...juicy, very tasty! And the fries...i would return just for the fries. The wait staff also excelled. A very enjoyable experience! Will most definitely return on next Durango visit.
