We chose a 3 bedroom, 3 bath, 2 story unit with attached garage, and in/unit washer/dryer within Bay Club condos. Without our knowledge; i.e. no phone call, no email, no postal service letter, we arrived at 9 pm with 2 cars full of gear and luggage and tired family members who had traveled from the Mid West all day. We picked up keys and directions from a drop box to a condo that we did not choose, did not have programmed into our GPS, or have the exact printed maps for. The supplied maps and directions were not very helpful and it It took an hour and a half, 4 unreturned messages to their emergency after hours phone numbers, and circling the units in the dark, family members walking around looking for BLDG numbers and apt. numbers before we found our unit. It was about 1/2 the size in square footage that we contracted for, had only 2 bathrooms, no washer/dryer, had black mold growing on the master bedroom shower door track, plugs would fall right out of the wall in multiple outlets. The light bulb was burned out and replacing it in the bedroom sink area did not fix the problem, so I guess the fixture was broken, and the sheets on the king bed were really queen sheets just laying across the top not able to be tucked in. Since we could not raise anyone, we just settled in as best we could. Next day was Sun. and still we got no call backs on our "emergency" messages, so on Monday we went to the Colorado Rocky Mountain Rentals office to see what could be done. We were told that the owner came back from Afghanistan and wanted to use the condo were rented so we were moved. They told us global vacations had contacted us and given us a choice of couple units and we chose the Ten Mile unit. Not true, and we told them no one contacted us. The CRMR office never apologized over our confusion and difficulty locating the place, just said that the emergency number "never rang". Again not true since we have the number listed as being placed on 3 different phones. They did hand us sheets that actually ended up fitting better, but no one came to fix the lights or outlets that weren't working. We stayed the week in very cramped conditions and blew the circuit breakers every day. Since we were out skiing every day and only used the condo at night we made due as best we could. There was only seating at the dining room table for 4, no counter stools, so we had people eating meals on the couches and spread all over the place. We ended up having a great week of adventure on the mountains at Copper, Breckenridge, and Keystone but would have preferred not to have such an "adventure" in our condo every day. Over all I thought the place was run down and that the management was not at all skilled in customer service. I would not recommend this management company or condo for a nice vacation.
