The cemetery is about a half mile or more up hill. The hike is okay, but definitely considered a hike. The trail was covered in snow when I went and it was tricky going up and down. The views are awesome. Amazing bit of history at the top.

Hiked up with kids aged 4-11, not too bad kids were all capable of making it on their own. There is a wishing tree on the way up as well as a bench at the top overlooking the town.

It’s a short hike (1/2 mile) to get to the MEMORIAL grave marker of Doc Holliday. What you will see is NOT his actual grave. According to the sign by his memorial, he was likely buried in an unmarked grave but the records of grave locations and occupants got lost sometime after 1939. This means they can’t prove where he was buried here, but since he did die in Glenwood Springs, it would be likely he is in fact buried in this cemetery... somewhere. Just so you know what your hiking up to see. If you’ve been here before 2004, the marker is different now, since it supposedly had incorrect info on it.
Also Kid Curry has a grave marker in the same cemetery.
Good lookout over the town on your way up too.
