This is a nice little art gallery. They sell the type of items you want to buy and keep for yourself! And it's so nice to know that many of the items are made by local artists.

This is a cool artsy spot with unique items made by local Artisans. What is so wonderful about this shop is the weaving classes they teach for the handicapped in the community. Beautiful! There are looms located in the upstairs and the shop sells their weaving.

Step inside and climb the stairs to see the dozen plus looms and the very special
people creating bags, placemats, towels, etc. You will most certainly be amazed and
no doubt you will bring something home that is quality and not made in China and you
will have benefited a very special community of artisans.

I love to browse this shop for unusual gifts for birthdays, Christmas and other occasions! There are many original hand made woven textile products such as place mats, table runners, napkins as well as baby blankets and baby knitted clothes. Other gifts are ceramics, paintings and photographs of the surrounding area.

A must see in Glenwood. Not only will you find exception works of local artists, but most impressive are the weaving products (placemats, towels, napkins, and MORE). These are produced at the Art on 8th site by local developmentally challenged individuals. You will be amazed at their work....and you are helping to support them with your purchases. They make WONDERFUL gifts.
