Incredible place! Cabins, yurts, campground (we camped) with all sorts of activities - archery, wall climbing, mini golf, indoor pool, summer tubing, and we did them all! Kids loved it. An awesome playground with a mini-zip line that the kids did over and over and over again. They had a wonderful 4th of July carnival during our stay with crafts, games, kites, bounce houses, BBQ ($$) and free snow cones and popcorn. The staff are friendly and helpful and keep the camp in pristine condition. We camped and the sites are well maintained and the bathroom/shower facility is very clean and spacious. We did 7 geocaches while on camp, too. The camp is an easy drive to Granby, Grand Lake, Fraser, and Winter Park, so close to many other activities. There is a beautiful outdoor chapel with incredible views and chances for gathering, singing, and roasting marshmallows, as desired. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at Snow Mountain Ranch for a few days in June and had a fabulous time! They have so much to offer right on site for little to no cost including mini golf, summer tubing hill, roller skating, indoor pool, archery, zip-lining, rock climbing wall, horse back riding, lake activities. They offer guided activities all day long including nature and waterfall hikes, arts & crafts, outdoor games. We stayed in the Aspenbrook lodge which was basic but very nice. Our room had two queen-sized beds and a bunk bed. The room was serviced daily, including linen service. We really liked the location of the Aspenbrook and Sliversage lodges as we could walk right up to the dining hall, and also a short walk up to the pool and main activity lodge. These are the older lodges however so they did not have ice machines, refrigerators or air conditioning. Indian Peaks lodge is newer and had these amenities, however it is a bit further down the road/longer walk. We ate breakfast and dinner in the dining hall and the food was basic but very good. All of the staff members were very nice and helpful. The weather and scenery were perfect-truly a slice of nature heaven! We flew into Denver and rented a car. The summer drive is not bad, and took only about 1 1/2 hours. The resort is pretty spread out so we were glad that we had a car. We will be returning next year and planning on staying longer to fully enjoy everything that the area has to offer. Highly recommend!

Stunning scenery, with great hiking trails, horseback riding, miniature golf, swimming pool, awesome tube slide, rock climbing wall, acceptable cafe. Many lodging choices; larger cabins are great for larger parties but too expensive for my tastes. Would visit again, but check out cheaper options.

This is our 5th stay at Snow Mountain Ranch with our children and grandchildren and, as in the past, we were completely delighted with everything. We always book a cabin so that we have a full kitchen and plenty of room for evening games and puzzles together. This time we were in cabin #1 and there was a den of foxes not more than 100 feet away. Watching them was a real treat. They have upgraded the wifi in the cabins so that it's much more usable and we didn't find it necessary to go to the main lodge to get online as we did in the past.
A couple of tips. After you arrive and check in, your first stop should be the Activities Center to book your activities. Reservations are required for the most popular activities and there are extra charges for things like the zip line. Afternoon times tend to be less crowded. If you have forgotten something, there is a store in the main building that has a limited variety of things. However, it’s a very easy drive back to the Safeway in Fraser where you can get virtually anything you need. We always stop there on our way up to SMR for groceries we forgot to bring with us, and lunch. They have a deli that is pretty good and the made-to-order sandwiches are always a hit.

We bought day passes And thought the Mountain was exceptional. We rented bikes, went on the Snow Mountain Summer Sledding, did Ziplining, Rock climbing wall, and the pool! It was great and we really enjoyed the day! We also ate at The Commons for lunch and thought the cafeteria style food was delicious! We want to possibly stay in a Yurt the next time we come.
