Stopped here on our way through the state on I70. So glad we did because everyone loved it! Incredible views and if it’s winter, it’s fun to watch the backcountry skiers and snowboarders. There was a steady stream of them when we stopped.

Worth a quick stop. This is one of those spots that you can remember for a lifetime. It's a spectacular view in all directions.

In the winter, there is pretty much always someone there coming or going from back country skiing. I'm forever envious of those folks.

Unless the wind is crazy strong, interrupt your drive and get out and be in the moment. You won't regret it.

WORTH THE STOP - If your going up, make sure you pull over and clib up the mountain, there is even snow all year round.

Must see tourist view point and multiple trail heads for a quick photo opp or longer hike. During snow season you will find locals snapping into their equipment and cutting tracks to the valley. Simply an iconic Colorado feature.

The view is beautiful. However, we went in the summer with our RV and we went down roads in this area that were really hard to maneuver in an RV. It's not anyone's fault, but just wish we knew beforehand that traveling in an RV with a trailer would be so tough in this area. Check the exact length of your RV before you venture off the main drag in this area. We had a 28ft RV and kept getting stuck in various areas that we would explore.
