This is a simple setting in a strip mall, but the food is simply wonderful--and truly authentic--Italian cuisine. Try the squash ravioli or the 4 cheese pizza. And the house wine is delicious...and reasonably priced.

After calling more than once to inquire about the hours for Sunday, we have arrived on 3 Sundays only to find the place closed. How hard is it to update the website and have your staff who answers the phone, know the hours of business??

We were saddened when Basil Flats left but since visiting here for our anniversary, are very glad to see that the place has been taken over by an owner and a staff that are just great. The food is very good too.

The food is well prepared and the portions are quite generous. There were four of us and we all enjoyed our meals very much.

Ordered dinner while I was waiting to meet someone to p/u a gift certificate (for another restaurant owned by the owner of Caprese); this was a big mix-up and another story for another day.

My meal was very slow in coming. The Linguine Scampi was tasty, but the shrimp were tough. The cannoli was a soggy mess and a huge disappointment. I don't know if they put whipped cream and chocolate sauce on top or underneath, but the bottom line is that it was sitting in liquid and it literally fell apart and tasted horrible (and I love anything with sugar)

I was excited to think Longmont might have a restaurant along the lines of Bacco Trattoria in Boulder, but I won't go back to Caprese..
