I am one of those people thinking that it must have been great to watch a concert here, but in lieu of that I'll just make do with the vibe created by people doing various activities as well as the good views that can be seen from the top of the Amphitheater. They do have a visitor center that details the park's history and the performers who have lent their talent on this stage - great for reminiscing!

While we did not show up for any concert at the venue, just coming to the amphitheater and seeing the combination of tourists and people exercising was unique. Great views to be had.

Most important in our case were the many hiking trails available, including ones that started/ended at the venue. You can easily make a visit into a great half-day or full-day of hiking or biking on the trails, with great views and different angles of the theater as you approach from the different trails.

Didn’t realize until after we hiked up all of the stairs that there were other ways to get to the top of the amphitheater so don’t let that stop you. The views are indeed spectacular and it will make you want to come back and see a show there for sure. Wear comfy shoes, watch out for ice, and keep in mind a lot of people work out here so there’s a lot of activity.

We hiked the entire place from top to bottom. Shopped at the trading post and back alway to the top. The views are awesome. The place is huge. Santana was warming up for their concert while we were there. The sounds are incredible. You have to see this place.....
