I always wanted to stay at a place like this - and Acorn Cottage was just perfect for our winter vacation with friends! The location was ideal being close to skiing and also Pagosa Springs. It was cozy but yet we all had plenty of privacy with the well designed floor plan. The four of us loved the warm and tasteful décor that was like being at grandma's quaint mountain retreat. It's a very inviting place with a pot belly stove and beautiful handmade quilts. Of course, we looked forward to ending our daily adventures soaking in the hot tub under the stars at night. Even though Acorn Cottage is rustic...the bathrooms are very modern and up to date. The kitchen is one of the best stocked kitchens of any rental we've ever stayed in. Pam and her staff's attention to detail is impressive! We definitely plan on returning!!!
