This is a mom and pop operation on the edge of town. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. The room was huge, simple, and very comfortable. I would stay here again. Parking was free, but somewhat limited.

This is an older hotel as are the others on the main drag in town. Maintenance is an ongoing project at any of these hotels and they make a great effort to keep up.
We had a room with 2 queen beds and it was quite large. The room was very clean.
A 40" TV with basic cable, microwave, coffeemaker, and fridge.
The continental breakfast is small with pastries, fresh fruit. yogurt, cereal, milk, juice, & coffee. It is set up on a small counter in the lower hallway.
The staff is friendly and works hard to please.
Location is within easy walking to some restaurants, bars, and shops.
Hideaway Park is a quick 1/4 mile walk.
Smoking section in the hot tub area could use some aux heat.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the road on the 2nd floor have a nice view of the ski slopes

As a repeat customer I would highly recommend this motel. Joe and the staff go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay- rooms are nice, clean and pretty big. Quite an enjoyable stay. Much more personable than staying at a big name chain.

Stayed at the Valley Hi before taking off on a week long off road motorcycle trip. Nice place within easy walking of food and entertainment. The owner, Joe, was a great guy and very accommodating. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in the Winter Park area.

We stayed here 2 nights to attend the Annual winter Park Jazz Festival. I was skeptical BUT boy were we surprised. The service (Joe) was outstanding!! The rooms were neat & clean and the prices for this time of year were reasonable. They are in the process of putting down new carpet so it will be even nicer. Please don't confuse this Motel with a Hilton... BUT if you want great service, clean rooms and a fantastic view right on the downtown strip then this is your place.

Room Tip: If you want clean & cozy with great service then this is your place.
