Stopped here with my friend and a small group the night before her wedding since the restaurant was conveniently located. Overall, everyone was thoroughly impressed! Potion sizes were large, menu was extensive, seafood was fresh and the nautical decor made it a fun stop! Worth a visit if you're in the area!

Known for their fish dishes but also serve a great Prime Rib. Usually very busy on weekends so call ahead. Service may e a little slow so enjoy a drink and conversation while your meal is being made.

Horrible experience. Never got our salads. Swordfish was overlooked. Will not be going back. Didn't even get bread after asking twice.

I'm surprised to see these 4 & 5 star reviews....I have eaten at some of the best seafood restaurants and this one is not even in the top 10. Not to mention how absurdly overpriced this is for the quality. Current prices for lobsters in stores are only 5.99 a pound and here it was 15.00 a pound and you had to buy a 2.5 lobster! ....so that was off our list right from the start. Most other establishments offer a good lobster dinner for about 22. Our hostess and server were sweet as pie since they have nothing to do with how or when the food comes out. We each ordered a cup of lobster bisque which was about 6 oz and not a shred of lobster, just a thick creamy roux no flavor and no sherry that could be detected. Mostly a flour and milky mush. The fried platters looked good that were walking past us so we ordered a couple of those and a seafood casserole in a brandy cream sauce that was literally ruined by the peppers in the sauce-it was so wrong-peppers do not go well in a cream sauce with seafood, we thought they were roasted red but these were green like canned soft ones or frozen. I ordered a baked potato and a coleslaw as my sides for the platter and the waitress brought out the coleslaw with the soup and it was warm just like the soup. Now the coleslaw was in a soup cup (odd) and only half full and looked liked someone else had not finished it -and it somehow ended up on our table. It should have been served with our dinners so we thought this was a mistake and then she brought the other order of cole slaw later with the other platter and this one was served in the correct bowl and chilled. We waited about 40 minutes for our food and were wondering why ? I would have liked to say it was worth the wait but not. We waited quietly and patiently and no one came to tell us anything in between getting the soup and dinners. So we were expecting something really good. Then my fried seafood platter came I ordered the fish, shrimp and scallop combo with the calamari. It looked great on the top layer. Well, there were no scallops on my plate and when I asked the waitress she brought out a bowl of fried shrimp and I looked in the bowl and only saw fried shrimp and said very nicely ""I have plenty of shrimp but NO scallops"""...lol...she replied "oh they are underneath the shrimp" and walked away as we moved the shrimp over there lay 2 burnt scallops drowned in black greasy soggy batter that looked like they were taken out of the trash which is where they belonged. Well, at this point we knew this place was not a winner in any respect. We kindly asked to have our food wrapped and paid the bill-there was no courtesy taken as far as compensating for their mistake but maybe they didn't see this as a mistake and we are not ones to make a scene..... But in our book, as professional cooks ourselves, an experienced and professional chef would not have allowed that food to leave the kitchen as it was served to us. Every customer should count and it appeared like there were uneaten portions of food under our fried platters which looked great on the top layer but underneath was a soggy greasy mess of broken fish and unappetizing pieces of fried seafood bits...looked like leftover food just to heighten the look of the plates....fried seafood should be able to be held up by its crispness and not fall apart. They need to overhaul their menu and create some new fresh tasting clean seafood. The kitchen should be reprimanded. Also, we requested waters twice and never got any . We promptly discarded
the food on our way out so as not to embarrass anyone. Huge disappointment.

Went here for a very early lunch with wife and our friends. We started with the New England Chowder. Delicious. Friend and I had twin lobster tails for lunch. They were perfect. Sweet, tender perfectly cooked and fresh. Recommended. Wife had the warm lobster roll. I tasted it and it was excellent. My friends wife had the salmon which she also said was delicious. Lots of choices on the menu including whole lobsters. Service was a little off even though the place was not busy at the time we arrived (wrong beverages, slow to respond, missing in action, etc.). Not a problem on this visit as we were happy to have the time but not a great sign. We enjoyed the visit overall and especially the food which was great. Will come back
