I rented 2 rooms in January 2018. When I first saw the outside of the place, I was inclined to drive away and find someplace else to stay, but I'd had a long day and needed sleep soon so took a chance. The facility is dated and a shabby in many ways, from the failing blacktop parking lot, shoddy repairs to the structure (such as the base of the columns outside the office), to the unsightly cover & fencing around the pool. Upon hearing my family's discussion of going to a different hotel, the night clerk on duty offered to give us 2 of the best rooms. I accepted the terms. The outside stairway up to rooms was narrow and dirty. Each of the rooms themselves was in mixed condition. Each was clean, had fresh paint and an updated countertop in the bathroom, yet the rooms still looked patched up and a bit makeshift. A leg on the ironing board in one room was crimped and about to collapse. There was no towel bar. We experienced no issues and the rooms served the purpose but, for the $, I'd go elsewhere next time I'm in the area.
