“Small, quiet beach on the Sound”

Reviewed 18 August 2016

Nice clean beach with a pavilion, bathrooms and a water fountain. Other than that no concessions, but Sandpipers across the street is available for drinks, ice cream and food. Parking lots are only available to town residents, but we managed to snag a spot on the street for free. Allso has a playground (mostly for little kids) a volleball court and bocce. Across the street is a little park with a splash pad for kids and benches for parents.

Quiet, clean and within steps of some of the best seafood you'll ever have (kudos to The Sandpiper!) The splash pad keeps the little ones busy. The Police sub station keeps undesirables at bay.

A great place to go with friends to enjoy the sun and surf from spring through the early fall. Nice location on the sound and right across from the Sandpiper Restaurant and parking.

The beach is clean, the bottom is sandy, the view is gorgeous. Splash pad across the street is fun for the kids. Proud to say I live in East Haven.
