Sure, it looks just like a neighborhood Italian restaurant from the sidewalk. But hiding inside is a chef with incredible recipes and skills! Saturday specials were all wonderfully prepared and presented

Came for dinner with family on Saturday (6 people). Despite having a reservation, our table was still not ready. We were crowded into a too small table (for 4 with chairs jammed at each end. We order an appetizer of calamari for the table. Calamari was just ok; it was lightly fried but with no other seasoning and came with a bland marinara dipping sauce. Salads were decent (especially the caesar salads) but the house salads were drowned in too much dressing. Mains were just ok; the lamb special was long on pasta and very short on lamb. Shrimp risotto was average. Two of our party had the blackened chicken and liked it. None of us had dessert. I won't be going back any time soon as there are far better Italian restaurants in the New Haven area for the same or better prices.

1st time visiting. Food was OK. Place was FREEZING!!! I left with the chills. Ate with my coat on, not very comfortable. Bread was very good, dinner was Saltimbocca. Good amount of prosuttio, not enough chicken. Would have to really think about going back again.

Been there 3 or 4 times it convenient. food is not good. bar side is nice and friendly food still all right at best.eating out side in summer is nice. And a little over priced.

Menu is reliable and unpretentious, staff is efficient and professional. Bread was warm but tasteless. Salads and desserts were very good and entree portions were ample. Chicken parm always a winner.Wall between former bar area and front seating area is a mistake and detracts from ambiance. Would appreciate beer list being available in the dining room.
