Like so many other people have said this isn't a resort. It is an old hotel on the beach.Cons- The rooms are on the musty side --the shower curtain had a little mold, but if you consider the price for a room on the beach in the summer, it is worth it. No refrig or coffeemaker--and they didn't tell us there was wifi access either ! IF you are not expecting a 4 star hotel, then you will be fine here. Pros- you are right on a small beach and the guy on the beach was wonderful--attentive-friendly and the chairs were nice. Their upstairs horseshoe bar is rustic and you can eat in or out. I don't think the food is top notch--but I have heard it is good for a burger etc. The continental breakfast was really good. A huge bowl of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries. Another one of pineapple and melon. Great bagels (not frozen) with cream chesse. Juice, coffee, cereal, granola---more than I expected. The location is good as there are many great restaurants in the vicinity--outlet stores--etc.
I didn't know they took pets nor did I see any here, but again if that is something you are interested in I guess this is an appealing factor.
