Ate here while visiting the museum. Great food, plenty of seating and even with a crowd staff works as a team for you to get your food in a timely manner.

My family and I had the pleasure of lunching at the Galley Restaurant on our two visits to the Seaport. Both times all three of us ordered the Clam Chowder, Lobster Roll, and Onion Rings. Both times we went back for second Lobster Rolls. The food was very good, the service was prompt, and there was plenty of seating. Recommended.

We were surprised to find such reasonably priced entrees at this on site restaurant in the Mystic Seaport Museum. Fish & Chips were excellent and they have a nice big dining area indoors out of the hot sun.

First meal was the Fish & Chips-one big slice of haddock, French Fries, a bag of Cape Cod Kettle potato chips. Entire meal was served very hot, with only small bites eaten at beginning of meal. Second meal was the Fried Shrimp Basket. This was 17 shrimp with a large amount fries. I would have liked a few more shrimp & a little less fries.

A person orders at one counter, given a receipt with a number followed with a short walk up a flight of stairs where a meal will be picked up with a wait time of 6-7 minutes depending on meal size & time of day. While waiting for your number to be called, now is the time to pickup ketchup, mustard, plastic silver & napkins across where the meal will be served.

Both meals were tasty & filling. Most seating is inside with picnic tables outside. This was the only restaurant I saw, however one reviewer stated she saw a total of four restaurants on the Seaport grounds. Noon is the busiest time, I recommend before 11:00 or after 1:00. The Gallery is located just north-inside the Seaport-of the southern admissions facility.

A stop is recommended
