I have driven past this picturesque inn many times and always wanted to spend a night. When given the opportunity, early in November, whilst traveling with a friend, I did.
We were greeted by a taciturn man and his German shepherd dog. I am not sure whether there are rooms available in the main, elegant looking building. The room we were given, in the annex, was small and musty smelling. Our bathtub had hair in it. The twin beds were comfortable enough and there was WiFi in the room. It was very expensive for the quality offered.
The breakfast room, in the main building, was cosy and breakfast was nice.More
