Over the last 3-4 months, we went 4x to this diner; 3x was during the week a couple months apart and one weekend day. Sadly as much as we want to like it and want to support the small business owner, we cant continue here.

Each of the 4 times we encountered a seriously slow and inefficient staff and the food is seemingly not interesting enough to wow anyone at the table. We are simple breakfast folks; eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, pancakes, French toast.

The PANCAKES over each of the trips here, had to be repetitively the worst we had in any diner, but to our fault, we kept ordering them in hopes they would improve. No detectable flavor and are tough; they need to reconsider the brand of mix; for the price....it needs help, serious help.

FRENCH TOAST we ordered was 4 tiny pieces of cinnamon raisin bread with a barely detectable egg mixture on them; they appeared more like regular toast than what would be an egg dipped/fried toast. Again, for the price of the F.T. ($5) seriously flawed simple breakfast.

Weekday mornings, not many customers but the time frame to get simple 2 or 3 breakfast plates has taken 35 mins after placing the order. This last time we didn't get offered any refills of coffee, although servers walked by several times with pots of coffee for other few patrons in the diner. Too bad, that is a simple courtesy to extend to your customers.

Is there a new owner or new cook...??? nonetheless, we have no choice but to find another restaurant for breakfast. We really wanted to love this place & make it a special spot but its just not happening.

I came here for breakfast with my boyfriend (since quality inn decided they were not having their comp breakfast today). The staff was so friendly, warm, and inviting. I really felt like I belonged. When you walk in the atmosphere is very homey and old-timey feeling, in a good way! The food is very reasonably priced and you get an absolutely huge portion. I really liked their potatoes especially and would definitely recommend their cheddar omelet. My boyfriend got the biggest short stake I have ever seen. The best part of it all I would have to say is when you are done eating it you don't feel bloated or gross because it is really like home cooked food from scratch.

This is a mom and pop type place just off of Hwy 75 south of the Bradley International Airport. Ive had tons of stuff from this little place and have never been disappointed in portions, taste, nor service. But, I keep coming back for the Delight sandwich. Its a chicken salad with bacon and cheddar cheese and it is delicious. While not a gourmet place, you'd have a hard time finding better made food anywhere in the area. Also, if you want take-out, simply call ahead and they will have it waiting for you. Highly recommended.

So nice to get the home touch feel. Very good homemade corned beef hash. Over easy eggs were spot on. Nice rye toast perfectly buttered. Very clean dining room and great service. Easy access and ample parking.

The best grinders in the Windsor/Windsor Locks area for lunch. Everything is super fresh and delicious. Call ahead and it will be ready when you get there for a quick lunch.
