First the stench of an entire can of air freshener set off inside the room, formed a cloud of ozone that I could slice with a knife. The a/c unit cannot cool the room because the filters were last cleaned maybe 9 months ago. Next, we are on our 2nd day of having NO HOT WATER. The smell of sewer backup permeated the entire building, probably from the water heater bursting. Next the front doors were left open, with outside temps close to 100 degrees. The front desk said the stench was gas…sure Methane is a gas. No offer of a refund or a discount. How hard is it to put in a new hot water heater. And YES THEY ARE STILL CHECKING IN FAMILIES WHILE THEY HAVE NO HOT WATER.

I feel as if I wasted a free night here! I earned a free night from a spring break promotion, so I booked a room here on my way through the area. We checked in around 9 and were told that the pool had closed at 8! Why?! We were assigned a room that seemed as if it hadn't been used in a while. The towels smelled musty and there was a spider on a web in the sink. In the breakfast area, they have a machine that makes several hot beverages. This is cool, but not efficient when you have an area full of people who have to wait for their turn. They need another machine or the large carafes that other hotels use. They had a good variety of hot foods as well as a pancake machine.
