Open the dictionary to hospitality and there will be a picture of Amy Ryan (bartender) who felt like she became a friend. This was our first time here but it felt like we were treated like long time regulars. Seated by the oyster bar and watching Elmer shuck what seemed like dozens of different oysters was fun and educational.

Amy waited on us and guided us through the menu, beer and wine choices. The lightly dusted dayboat scallops were to die for. Layered with sweet potato mashed and candied bacon chunks and roasted brussel sprouts. Truly a memorable meal.
This will definitely be our new go-to place when visiting #Rehoboth.

Love having comfort food on a cold blustery day. After a very short chilly walk on the boardwalk we stopped here for a late lunch.
It was warm and inviting inside and staff very friendly. Their gumbo with fried okra was amazing! It warmed my sole and was so tasty I didn’t want it to end. They have a great selection of local beers on tap and even offer cask beer.

Server was very nice..... 2 people enjoyed 6 Pemiquid oysters each.....very good but very small and expensive. We could not get there in time for happy hour. Lobster roll was good but obviously not Maine...too much bread/roll and mayo...

We always go tho when back in Rehoboth

We enjoyed a great lunch here. My husband was impressed by the selection of microbrews and domestic and imported beers. We shared a smokey blue cheese board. He enjoyed a pulled pork sandwich, and I had the steamed pot luck. Both were very tasty. Service was excellent. Restaurant is friendly.

We experienced Henlopen City Oyster House for the first time and were very pleased with the wonderful food, Service and Cocktails. The Goose Breast was excellently prepared as well as the fried oysters and the Lobster Mac & Cheese. Portions are generous and make a great lunch the next day. I will be back with our friends. Great job to all!
