Went last Saturday night, Four in our party, and while the restaurant was busy we were seated in very little time. This is a place that invites you to come for the evening, enjoy a great meal and the company of friends. The new renovations have updated the room but in our minds the old more "clubby" Sullivan's was just as good. Here the service is never an issue, if you have a problem no matter how small, it is taken care of immediately, all you need to do is ask. So now the important part. We had the tater tot appetizer which is only offered in the bar but available if asked for which is fantastic. Think deep fried baked potato with bacon and cheese. We ordered a Malbec wine seldom seen at other restaurants. Three of our party had the filet, and I had the emperor of steaks the New York strip. The steaks here are all hand cut by the chef, perfectly aged and cooked to perfection. All of us had the baked potato which is dressed table side with butter, sour cream, and of course bacon. For desert one of us ordered something that came as a chocolate dome, and when warm chocolate sauce was poured over it, it melted uncovering a mouse like center. Try it maybe you can come up with the proper words for how good it was. Then the general manager came over to greet us and made us know how happy they are that you are there. Truly one of those experiences you think you can only get in center city Philadelphia or New York.
