We had an extended stay weekend. The beach was wonderful and the room was very clean and well-stocked. Good water pressure in the shower. Only two problems - the first was poor service on the beach on Saturday. I had to go multiple times to the work station to ask for a menu, water, etc. The only time the guys would come running to you is if you ever tried to move your chair. It was difficult to place a food or drink order the whole day; they had plenty of workers but the chair buttons for service did not work - you waved them down and they did not come back when they indicated they would. The other issue was that our guest entry door was messed up. The doorbell & privacy button did not work, although all other electronic buttons in the room did. Therefore, the entire weekend we had housekeeping, etc strolling into our room when we did not have the deadbolt engaged, and even then you could hear them trying. We alerted the staff to this issue and it was not fixed.
Overall, it was a very upscale property with nice amenities included with your resort fee, and we would stay again. We were a bit dismayed that a high end resort would allow pets, as we saw many guests with their dogs on the property.

Quick weekend getaway for some sun, sand, yachts and more. The beach staff were very attentive and provided a relaxing experience. David running the sand was superb and Francisco behind the bar for the ten minutes of rain we had was equally five star. We can't wait to return when the snow in Long Branch, NJ gets too deep!

We have just arrived home after a 10 night stay at this hotel. All started out so well, the welcome glass of fizz at reception, pleasant and easy check in and a lovely room. Even the first few days were good. However, half way through our stay and after a very late night at an engagement party, we decided to have an afternoon siesta. We were awoken by a noise. It took me a couple of seconds to realise that it was a knock on the door. Less than a few more seconds and before I had time to get up, there was another knock. Before I had even time to get to the door, so may be 5 seconds, he had opened the door and was in the room declaring he was to check the mini bar. I told him that he needs to give time for someone to answer the door before he comes bowling in. Strangely, I have been looking through other reviews and see that a lady had exactly the same problem and the reply from the manager was that this kind of situation would be dealt with. Clearly it hasn't been dealt with!! My partner was still on the bed and she had no chance if she had needed to to put clothes on, luckily she was full clothed but if not, there would have been serious trouble. Second problem was that on our last day being Sunday just gone, we decided we would have breakfast on the patio at the restaurant. On Sundays breakfast is until 11am. We arrived at 10.50, sat at a table but no one came to speak to us even though the staff had clearly seen us arrive. When I got up to ask for some service, I was told that we were too late as breakfast is until 11am. He showed me his
watch which said 10.57am so I told him it was still before 11am. I was told again we were too late. We were furious and went straight to concierge to complain. Naively, I expected some positive response and assistance, but no, all they did was to try and suggest a restaurant in the town to go to!!! Shocking for a 5 star hotel. I did learn later that we shouldn't have just sat a table without being shown to one, which I accept, but all the staff were walking past us and no one said a word. Also, as previously said, it was still before 11am. It says that breakfast is served until 11am,, not that you get kicked out at 11am. Lastly, we played golf on our last day, so I advised the check out staff and they said they would do the bill while we were out. By the time we got back at around 3pm, the money had already been taken from our account. No problem, but yesterday, they had sent us a revised bill with a bottle of water taken from the mini bar during our stay that they had failed to put on the original bill. Come on St Regis, it cost you more to raise another bill and cost us more due to transaction charges with a UK card. It was a real disappointment as the hotel is beautiful and we loved our room, but not sure we would return.

I’ve stayed at both Four Seasons properties and several Ritz Carlton’s this is my first experience at the Saint Regis. Each one of these experiences is special with different experiences. Here is the St Regis:From the moment your arrive (to your glass of rose champagne)at check in to the the unfortunate time you must leave, this is an amazing experience. A certain few stand out and deserve special mention, including Sally at check in, Ryan by the pool, Kurt, his manager, a delightful in room server, Leticia (who brought me, without being asked, ginger, lemon and honey for a cold and Carlos at the beach. An incredible wedding event weekend. Certainly look forward to returning one day soon

Just returned from a 3 day visit to the St Regis Bal Harbor. The hotel experience was as wonderful the second time as the first time. This was a much shorter visit, however we enjoyed every moment. The guest rooms are still the best rooms ever. The nod it to the storage and spacious bathrooms. More than spacious. The staff continue to be spectacular. On this visit we were made aware of a new resort fee of $36 ( I think) per night. This seemed a little high, however it covered two cocktails in the bar and wifi. There were addition items, however these were the only added value to us. We can not wait to return to the hotel again sometime soon. Thank you to everyone for making this the best spot to stay in Miami.

Room tip: North facing rooms do not get balcony sun. The view was beautiful from room 607 quiet, great ocean view. all rooms face the ocean.
