It was a wonderful surprise to find this restaurant, like going back in time to 1926 when it was. built. It's in excellent condition, so it must have been restored, but restored with history in mind. We ordered the spinach salad with grilled shrimp. Everything was excellent! The service, the ambiance and the food! Next time we visit, we would love to stay at the Inn. The property is located in a wonderful waterfront area with many things to do.

This property is often confused with the Tarpon Lodge and Restaurant in Bokeelia, on Pine Island. We live on Pine Island and I have been in this beautiful property when it was the Bokeelia Tarpon Inn, but after selling in June of 2012, it is now called the Lahser House in Bokeelia. The new owners have remodeled the 1914 built historic home and it is absolutely stunning! We attended a very dear friends wedding there this summer. It had been a B&B, but now has a commercial kitchen for large events and can easily seat 40-48 people. It has 5 large bedrooms and 5 ½ baths. The views are absolutely amazing. What a wonderful spot for a destination wedding!!!

Room Tip: This is NOT a hotel! This is a home that is rented out for families, functions, etc. There is no service, but plenty of room, and a kitchen that a caterer can easily maneuver around. Plus a bar open from the kitchen to the living area. There is one bedroom with private bath downstairs for handicap accessibility, with an additional ½ bath for guests. The views from the upper deck are breathtaking!

This bed and breakfast Inn is a hidden jewel off-the-beaten-path on Pine Island in Florida. It is nestled in a lush garden setting just across the road from the ocean. It has elegant Old Florida
charm. The owners are friendly and accommodating. The food is wonderful. Service is stellar. The 2nd floor screened porch with its lovely wicker furniture is the best place to relax with a good novel. The interior is cozy, calming, and comfortable. The pace is easy. Kick back and relax. I would tell families with small active children not to stay here because the Inn really is designed for adults and quiet relaxation. There are no waterslides or miniature golf or cartoon characters here. Just lovely Old Florida hospitality for the discriminating adult traveler.
