What a great find! This small bistro run by Stephan and Shirley serves authentic German food. Our schnitzel was perfect and quite a large portion. Meals are under $20. German beer is also served. We passed on the homemade apple strudel...too full! The host sare extremely hospitable! Shirley left 2 Chocolate bunnies with our bill. Outdoor seating is also available.

When visiting an area I always look for a German restaurant as they are hard to find near home. Checking trip advisor we selected Stephan's and were glad we did. This is the real thing! A family restaurant with good basic German food. Service was friendly and attentive. I always enjoy spätzle and red cabbage and both came with most meals. We all agreed the spätzle was wonderful and cabbage best we have had. We had the schnitzel and cabbage and both were excellent. Next visit will try the goulash as we will definitely be back.

Fun, lively, small German restaurant with delicious, authentic food. Bratwurst and sauerkraut was great. TV showing performance of most popular German vocalist. We thought we were hearing Celine Dion. Owner and his wife, the chef out and about and very friendly.

Hadn't eaten here in a # of years, actually since about the time they opened. Food is even better than we remembered and they were very cordial and welcoming despite being so busy. Service was very good as well. Shared a house salad that was fresh and crisp, plenty for two. Wouldn't let us order another one so we would have room for the apple strudel. Karen had the cabbage rolls and I the roast pork dinner...both with spaetzle and kraut or cabbage...mmm good. Strudel was delicious and came with some ice cream and whipped cream; enjoyed a robust cup of coffee. Would highly recommend but you should reserve as there are only 11 tables inside.
